SPOC’s TK-2nd Graders welcomed Cal State University Long Beach to campus as students dove into the fascinating world of marine biology with the Shark Lady program. Scholars were captivated by the story of Eugenie Clark, who revolutionized our understanding of these incredible creatures.

Through interactive storytelling and hands-on experiences with shark specimens, our young Scholars deepened their knowledge of sharks and explored the essential diving gear used by scientists in their oceanic quests.
