Summer is a time for fun, and here at Scholarship Prep building friendships while inspiring learning! Students enjoyed free, four-week summer camp programming jam-packed with exciting activities, enriching experiences, nutritious food, and a supportive environment.
Scholarship Prep Orange County and the SP Student Services department collaborated with Orange County Social Services Agency to host an on-campus event connecting those who work in the foster community with those interested in becoming foster families at the first in-person Hearts in Motion event.

Dessert-first, red carpet, confetti-filled celebrations honored Scholars who achieved success and mastery in Mathematics and English Language Arts in last year's state test. Here at Scholarship Prep, Collegiate Awards are one of the ways we recognize academic achievement not only to motivate students to reach higher but also to serve as an incentive for all students to dream bigger!
Throughout the year, we’re honored to share at conferences state-wide how our trauma-informed teaching, community partnerships, and wraparound services are making a difference in the lives of students and families. Most recently, our team traveled to California Charter School Association’s annual conference in Sacramento, where we presented on topics and were inspired by like-minded educators.
Whether through artistic expression, movement, or the written word, our campuses honored Black Americans' achievements, determination, and triumphs throughout our nation’s history.
Through the program, students are prepared for the real world by showing them how to generate income and effectively manage it, create jobs that make their communities more robust, and apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace.
While Scholarship Prep offers students many opportunities to participate in the democratic process, there is perhaps no better way to see civic learning in action than when aspiring student leaders campaign for the votes of their peers during the Associated Student Body (ASB) election season. See how the Scholarship Prep Orange County ASB leaders take an active role in creating a cheerful campus culture that is welcoming, inclusive, and FUN!
With exciting reenactments, props, dance, games, and music, Scholarship Prep students participate in unforgettable educational experiences that bring history to life! Walk Through History programs are incredibly fun and set the stage for more in-depth classroom learning.

Today, more than 300 students in grades TK through 3rd grade were welcomed into the bright and spacious classrooms of Scholarship Prep Public Schools’ first “ground-up” campus at 1821 N. Grand Avenue in Santa Ana, less than two miles from its flagship campus, now serving students in 4th through 8th grades.

Scholarship Prep partnered with Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa to provide free haircuts to our students. Scholarship Prep students were treated to lunch and styling sessions from aspiring cosmetologists and barbers.
Beginning August 16th we will be serving breakfast daily from 7:45AM to 8:10AM.

Orange County Board of Supervisors, in partnership with Orange County Workforce Development Board, launched the OC One-Stop. Mobile Unit to provide access to education and training services offered by OC One-Stop Center for youth, adults, dislocated workers, and businesses while preparing the workforce for post-COVID-19 return. The County of Orange has allocated funds for the implementation of the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program. The ERA Program provides funding to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please see the letter going home and sent via email to all SPS-Santa Ana families. We received notice from OCDE and the California public health officials that based on the guidelines stated to cancel all of our events for the on the March.
