TK-8th GRADE HEAD OF SCHOOL: 2026-2027
Mrs. Dennise Allotey
Mrs. Dennise Allotey is excited to continue serving the Scholarship Prep Orange County community, where her Scholarship Prep journey began as a founding teacher. With over 10 years of TK–8 charter school leadership experience, she has served as Principal of Scholarship Prep Orange County, Principal on Assignment, and Director of Family Engagement.
During her time as Principal, she helped lead the campus through continued growth, facility expansion, WASC accreditation, California Distinguished School recognition, a seven-year charter renewal, and steady leadership through the pandemic.
Mrs. Allotey is passionate about creating a positive school culture where students feel safe, families feel connected, and staff feel supported. She lives in Cypress, CA, with her husband and their two children.

Scholars and staff at Scholarship Prep Orange County's Grand campus gathered in the courtyard to release biodegradable balloons carrying their worries, fears, and burdens as part of Mental Health Awareness Month. A simple act that reminded everyone: no one has to carry their struggles alone.

This spring, the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks and Scholarship Prep launched a first-of-its-kind community partnership, bringing two brand-new programs to Scholarship Prep's South Bay and Orange County campuses.

Through our partnership with Lunch Bunch, Scholars build real culinary skills, develop teamwork and leadership, and learn what it takes to prepare nutritious meals from scratch.

Every morning, before the first lesson begins, something important happens in Scholarship Prep classrooms across Southern California. Teachers greet Scholars by name at the door. Students settle in. And Morning Meeting begins.

Hundreds of families got a firsthand look at what Friday STEM labs are all about. Scholars led demonstrations, explained their thinking, and walked parents through real problem-solving.
