With electives taught by experienced instructors during the school day, and clubs like Basketball and Folklorico after school, Scholarship Prep is committed to giving students multiple pathways to explore athletics, develop healthy habits, and prepare for future opportunities.

This year-long residency does more than just teach music. It gives students the foundation and confidence they’ll need to take on future opportunities, especially in high school band, choir, or arts programs.

Chi Wan Yip brings both heart and purpose to her classroom and to the entire Scholarship Prep community. From warm morning greetings to her equity-focused teaching philosophy, Ms. Yip is committed to ensuring every Scholar feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Nutritious meals are a guarantee at Scholarship Prep, where every elementary and middle school student receives free breakfast, lunch, and snacks every school day, no questions asked.

Throughout the year, our free after-school programs and seasonal intersession camps offer Scholars a safe, fun, and educational environment where curiosity is encouraged, friendships are formed, and families can rest easy knowing their children are cared for.

At Scholarship Prep, learning goes beyond the classroom, and sometimes, all the way to the open sea. Third-grade Scholars at Scholarship Prep Orange County recently set sail from Dana Point aboard the Dana Pride for an unforgettable marine adventure.

Scholarship Prep recently welcomed families for an exciting STEM Festival Open House, turning our Oceanside, Orange County, and South Bay campuses into hands-on learning labs. This event wasn’t just a showcase; it was an immersive STEM experience, highlighting the engineering design process and our commitment to 21st-century learning.

Through a partnership with Sage Hill High School’s DanceMinds program, our second-grade Scholars at the Grand Avenue TK-3rd grade campus had the opportunity to explore the art of dance in an inclusive and joy-filled environment.

Beyond our meetings on Capitol Hill, we collaborated with nonprofit leaders from across the country, exchanging ideas on strengthening programs that provide stability and educational opportunities for vulnerable students.
